Ethical Leadership Workshops

Our Ethical Leadership Workshops invite teens to wrestle with the real questions leaders face: What is the right thing to do? Who could be affected? How do I stand up for my values when it is hard? Instead of lectures, we use stories, scenarios, and discussion to help them build a strong inner compass.

We begin by exploring what "ethical" actually means in everyday life - not just in textbooks. Teens identify their personal values and compare them with the qualities they admire in leaders they respect. From there, we introduce simple decision filters they can use when choices are not black and white: Is it honest? Is it fair? Would I be comfortable if this were made public?

Through case studies drawn from school, social media, group work, and early work experiences, teens work in small groups to analyze dilemmas and propose responses. They consider different perspectives, weigh short-term gains against long-term impact, and practice explaining their reasoning out loud.

We also address courage. Knowing the right choice is one thing; acting on it is another. Teens learn language for speaking up respectfully, strategies for handling peer pressure, and ways to seek support from adults without feeling like they are "snitching." Role plays give them a chance to try these skills in a safe setting.

Throughout the workshop, we connect ethical leadership to the "business of self" - how consistent choices build or break trust, reputation, and future opportunities. This program pairs especially well with our Decision-Making Skills Training and Social Impact Entrepreneurship sessions, giving teens a values-based foundation for every leadership role they take on.

Parents and partners see the ripple effect: more thoughtful behavior, stronger integrity, and young people who understand that real leadership is not just about being in charge; it is about doing what is right when it counts most.
